Why do I get a colormap error? Netscape try to allocate many entries in the colormap to display inline images. If all the entries in the colormap are required, then other
applications will not be able to allocate any entries in the colormap and may not start. To fix the problem, the browsers can be started with it's own private colormap. For Netscape, use the "-install" option. With a private colormap there will be color flashing as focus is moved
between applications. The option "-ncols #" can be used to fix the
maximum number of colors that Netscape tries to allocate. This may cause the quality of some inline images to be degrade.
